Perla Porto in Dusseldorf

We only went to eat at the Hyatt, a disappointment. Then over to the Perla Porto and had a great evening. The new team goes to great lengths and has even implemented our special requests with a smile. Large selection of wines and a nice ambience. We'll definitely be back! Thanks to the team

NEVER AGAIN! THAT WAS PERLA PORTO !!! I was a regular customer here! I've been going to the place for a decade ... it's all downhill! Service and food .. and the man who pretends to be the boss - disaster! Better go to McDonalds or a local pizzeria !!!! You won't be kidding with your money! Last time we were there with 20 people. And now again recently as a group! We were ignored and it wasn't even half full. We spent 4 hours in the shop, 4 hours !!! And not voluntarily! We had to ask the staff several times to pay attention to us, to come to the table, etc. I wanted to lend a hand myself. You totally embarrassed me! What we didn't want and didn't eat, we STILL HAVE TO PAY !!! The “boss” puzzles himself together and accuses us of never going public! Corona requirements? No not here! Leave no names and addresses, no numbers! At the time I was happy to recommend it and that's over now! I also want the person in charge of the store to contact me! I claim back the money withdrawn too much !!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Edited - as of October 29, 2020) ANSWER to your dishonest answer: 1. There were no QR codes on your menus! Accept your mistakes !! 2. Yes, of course service .. which came after 40 minutes! You don't eat voluntarily for 4 hours !! 3. The oh-so-dear supervisor was only there because she wanted to charge us too much money! For your mistakes! Just like the waiter who just lied in our face! You didn't care who went in and out where and when! 4. And you still blame the customer! As if so many people had something to complain about for no reason! Embarrassing. I don't write so much for nothing! 5. You have hereby proven that you are not worth it to ever go to your pub (again). Every money that you got through me and my recommendations should only make you richer! So that you can accuse us of not lacking the money and then simply charge more! Principle totally missed, dear Perla Morto. Good luck on your further path.

A nice ambience with a great view of the water and an open kitchen. Good and sensible card. Attentive service staff and a very good kitchen. The prices are high but reasonable. Only 8 € for a large bottle of San Pel. are covered. Overall, definitely recommendable.

Staff very friendly and accommodating, also humorous. All around were great service. Pizzas are very authentic Italian. Penne were also very tasty. Highly recommended!

Delicious food, wine and good service on a quiet thursday evening. Portion size was appropiate, although rather expensive for quality and size. -1 star because they tried to charge us 1€ more each. I caught the waiter but my friend did not say anything because he felt intimidated.

3* because of excellent view and very friendly staff. The food is quite bad. Vitello tonato was hardly chewable and pizza bathing in oil. Also wines are of a very poor quality. Would like to come back but we won't. Not worth to pay for untasty food.

I was at Perla Porto with 4 of my friends on Saturday after a very long time. A lot has changed, but I have to say that there is still a very nice atmosphere. If not better. The food was top notch and reasonably priced. Despite the fact that the restaurant was very busy, you could tell that the staff work well together and are happy to help each other out. And once again a big thank you to our waitress Ayline. Very friendly, polite and she provided great service. She was always approachable. So great! Definitely very recommendable restaurant at the harbor. Thanks see you next time!

Bad Service, took ages until we got good, food was just mediocre and way too expensive for the supplied quality.

Real Italian food is served with a wonderful view of the Medienhafen in Perla Porto. Whether pasta, pizza, fish or other classic dishes, I have never been disappointed in terms of taste. The prices for the dishes are reasonable, the drinks are sometimes quite high. In any case, my recommendation to enjoy it there once.

Went there with family and we were very convinced of everything. The food tastes great, the service is right and the prices are reasonable for the food you get. The location itself is very nice and you feel very comfortable right away. Top Top Top 👍🏻

I come here a number of times and have never been disappointed. The ambience and the view are great! Of course, the food doesn't keep up. The most delicious Italian dishes can be found here. Always happy..

We were there yesterday and had a wonderful evening on the terrace. Although it was well attended, everything went perfectly. Very friendly service and perfect food. Unreservedly recommendable!

Service: takes extremely long and looks very uncoordinated. We had a single waitress for a table with 20 people. Drinks had to be ordered again and again because previous orders were forgotten. When the food came, no one came around - we were all still thirsty, but then gave it up because nobody paid any attention to us. Employees completely unmotivated and when ordering, we sometimes had to write what we wanted on the pad so that the order could be taken. In the end, you could not split the bill. Food: ordered medium rare steak, received unseasoned and completely dry steak. The food didn't taste like anything. I couldn't eat half and returned it. The waitress asked me at the end why I didn't say something earlier: because nobody came by or was seen somewhere? Price: completely overpriced for the quality. Steak with three wines and a tip of over € 60

Unfortunately, the greeting and instructions to the table were not exactly open and friendly. Then a very long time until someone came, the waiter himself did not know what was on the menu - and wanted to know the "number" of the dish. Should be really professional in terms of prices. Wine was also not possible in a 1/4 carafe. Waiters totally overwhelmed. Unfortunately, this mood continued through the evening, then went after the starter. And when you tell the boss afterwards that you weren't satisfied, he behaves far from professionally. He tried to save something with a drink on the house, but then we paid and went anyway ...

The food was good, the service could have been a little better. We always waited a long time before we caught a waiter and finally got the bill. Unfortunately we never received the packed food, but after the waiting time it was no longer worth it for us to wait any longer.

Nice restaurant in Medienhafen. Average food at higher-than-average prices. The tables are spaced too close to each other, so having a conversation is difficult, esp.if it's date night!

Absolutely delicious. Fantastic food and service. So good, we went twice during our 9 days in Düsseldorf.

Very bas place i really dont recommend any one to go there the people who wroks there are not extermly bad ( one of them was making a move on my girl i hated this place a lot.)

Service was terrible, the food was okay, Ambient is really good though. A little pricey but for the area it's okay.

Nice restaurant, good service but the main course was unfortunately only average. 2 years ago it was much better.

Great choice for Italian cuisine n wines

I never, ever experienced such a bad service!! During dinner the service was unfriendly and maybe even rude. After dinner, the waiter was intimidating us to get a 5 euro tip. I have read some other reviews, and it seems like a common practise at this place. I gave 1 star because the food was actually quite good, but @Perla Porto: you will never see me again!

Italian Restaurant with a nice view. Located at the iconic Medienhafen district of Düsseldorf. Offers a large variety of Italian meat, fish, noodle as well as pizza dishes. Location filled quickly on a Saturday evening so better book a table when you want to sit outdoor. The service needs a little improvement as it took a while until our drinks were served. In general a solid place with a nice view. Would come again for drinks next time.

Excellent food and excellent service. Had seafood risotto, vegetarian pizza and chicken spaghetti for lunch.

Modern ingericht Italiaans restaurant. Het eten is er prima. Toch is het er niet in de haak vanwege het ontbreken van goede manier bij het bedienend personeel. Bij het afrekenen blijft de ober bij je tafel staan, verspert hij de doorgang en vraagt hij expliciet om een fooi. Erg intimiderend. Een etentje bij Perla Porto krijgt dan wel een hele rare bijsmaak.......Voor mij nooit meer Perla Porto. Modernes Italienisch Restaurant. Das Essen ist ok, aber trotzdem ist das Restaurant nicht ok, weil es das Personal gute Umgangsformen fehlt. Beim bezahlen die Rechnung bleibt der Kellner beim Tisch, versperrt er die Ausgang und er fragt ausdrücklich um ein Trinkgeld. Sehr abschreckend. Das Essen bekommt dann ein übler Nachgeschmack. Für mich nie wieder Perla Porto...... Modern designed restaurant. The food is ok, but on the whole I can not recommend the restaurant due to the poor manners of the waiter. When paying the bill, the waiter stays at your table, blocks the way out and asks explicitly for a tip. Very intimidating and a very strange way to deal with guests. For me no more Perla Porto.

Awesome find. They made the white-wine-sauce-scampi-cod-pasta after I showed them a picture I found about them on Google search. They kindly made it after taking the pic to the waiter, the kitchen, the chef, and voila - the food was taken out from the screen! Attentive staff which is rare for this region in Germany. Good house wine too!

Eten is middelmatig, bediening was zeer onvriendelijk, 1 ster voor het uitzicht alleen al... Das Essen ist mittelmäßig, der Service war unfreundlich, 1 Stern für die Ansicht allein ... Food is mediocre, service was unfriendly, 1 star for the view of the city at the background...

Great location and view, but the food not worth it. They sell themselves as an Italian restaurant, but this is not the case. In my view just an interpretation of what the Italian plates and cuisine should be.

Had gone to this beautiful place for Valentine's Day !! First Impression that its a nice place with good ambience. But then comes the food. Firstly, we didn't want onions in an insalat and they got us only tomatoes...that's it !! After telling them they put some extra Mozarella and few leaves of Basilikum. Then comes their biggest disaster: Risotto, which they have no idea how to make (and they claim its an Italian place). Ordered one with mushrooms and asked them to REPLACE liver with Brocolli. The Risotto had Mushrooms with Tomatoes, spring onions but NO Brocolli !! When it was replaced with the correct one (after another 15 mins waiting) the rice was heavily undercooked. And I don't even want to get started on the Bill !! Worst experience ever ! We are never going to this place again !! Hope they learn customer service atleast from some Italians !!

Huge menu. Found my seafood pasta a bit tasteless though. Service was good and decor was nice.
